Sometimes I wish there was more time in the day. But I think my day would still be just as full. I split my time between my paid work, parenting, and organizing to build a revolutionary, multi-racial, people of color and other oppressed groups led, cross class, pro-queer, feminist, and multi-tendency revolutionary movement. And I still find time to read spec fic and noodle around on the internet. As of 2008, I'm trying to figure out how to add "self care" and "responding to ecological crisis" to my main ways of spending time. We'll see how that goes.

My kid is a fantastic ray of white hot light that cuts through even the gloom of knowing where our world is headed and how many people don't see/don't care, and parenting her gives me inspiration, energy, and hope. and lots of laughs, too, because she's a funny kid in addition to being, you know, utterly charming and talented and smart.
